Missouri National Guard
|
Project Scope
The Missouri National Guard training facility was constructed in 1992. Within several years of construction, the structures (Military Education Facility, Headquarters and STARC Armory) began experiencing moisture and water penetration issues. Initially, the Guard retained a forensic architecture firm who concluded that the cause of the water problems was related to inadequate and improperly installed flashings and lack of structural support for the masonry above the window openings. SSC Engineering was retained to provide engineering design for the required masonry repairs to correct the architectural and structural issues identified by the forensic team. Armory South and North, Headquarters, Military Education Facility.
