Project Scope
Major renovation of an existing mall, including multiple retail areas, tenant finishes, food court and furniture store relocation. Provided life safety code review and consultation, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler system design. Facility was subject to Unified Facilities Criteria, Air Force Facility Requirements, NFPA 101, relevant IBC, and local base standards. Challenges included meeting latest fire sprinkler design criteria with low available pressure on existing systems.
