Project Scope
Provided an Existing Building Systems Condition Evaluation Study of approximately 72,000 sf. This Existing Building Condition Evaluation Study identified potential opportunities to install individual systems or incorporate corrective measures that did not create or exacerbate deficiencies in existing systems, brought the systems into compliance with NIH DRM requirements, achieved LEED CI and Fundamental Cx, and provided Estimates of Probable Construction Costs. The study resulted in the design and installation of new electrical infrastructure including drawout switchgear, genset, multiple ATSes and UPS; new HVAC Central Plant; and new 35,000 sf mass spectrometer lab lighting, power and systems. Building was upgraded to N+1 GSA guidelines.
